The Longest Matches in Tennis History

The Isner Mahut match at Wimbledon 2010 ran 11 hours 5 minutes over three days, 70-68 in the fifth set, the longest match ever played. Rule changes brought final set tiebreaks at 6-6.

Other marathons include the 2012 Australian Open final, when Djokovic beat Nadal in 5 hours 53 minutes, the longest major final ever played. Physical limits, not skill, decide such matches..
