Bjorn Borg
Ice Borg, five straight Wimbledons and six French Opens before retiring at 26
Overview
The Swede with the two handed backhand and heavy topspin changed tennis physically and stylistically. He won the French Open six times and Wimbledon five in a row from 1976 to 1980, 11 majors in all. He played his last match at 25 and formally retired in 1983. His 1970s rivalry with McEnroe, especially the 1980 Wimbledon final, is the most romantic in tennis history.
