Marcelo Rios
First Latin American man to reach world number one
Overview
The Chilean left hander reached the top of the rankings in 1998, becoming the first man from Latin America to hold the position. He reached the Australian Open final that year and won a run of Masters titles with a game of exceptional touch and anticipation.
