First played in 1899, Cincinnati is the oldest tennis tournament staged in its original city. Now held in Mason, Ohio on hard courts ahead of the US Open, it joined the Masters 1000 elite. Federer won it seven times, Djokovic and Sampras multiple editions, and its center court rewards first strike tennis in humid August heat.
