Italian Open
The Rome clay classic at the Foro Italico since 1930
Overview
The Internazionali d Italia began in 1930 and found its home at the marble statues and pine trees of the Foro Italico. The red clay is a key French Open tune up, and champions include Vilas, Graf with nine titles, Nadal with ten, and Djokovic with six. The new grand stadium opened in 2010 above the historic center court.
