Overview
The youngest of the Swedish dynasty won the French Open in 1982 at 17 while unseeded, beating Vilas in the final. He added six more majors and in 1988 won three of the four slams to seize number one from Lendl. He never won Wimbledon, his best surface paradox, but won the Australian twice on grass. He captained Sweden to Davis Cup wins.
