Miami Open
The Sony Open of Miami, combined hard court major of March since 1985
Overview
Founded in 1985 by Butch Buchholz, Miami grew into the largest combined event after the slams, staged at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne for decades before moving to Hard Rock Stadium in 2019. Andre Agassi won six titles, Djokovic six as well. Heat, humidity and slow hard courts make it one of the most demanding events.
