Olympic Tennis
Gold since 1896, dropped in 1928, restored in 1988
Overview
Tennis appeared at the first modern Games in Athens 1896, and champions were crowned until 1924, then left the program after Paris 1924 amid amateurism disputes. Seoul 1988 restored full medal tennis. Steffi Graf 1988 Golden Slam, Agassi 1996, Murray winning singles gold twice 2012 and 2016, and Belinda Bencic 2021 mark its roll.
